Schmeing has been part of the Groz-Beckert Group since 2001. With around 9,400 employees worldwide, Groz-Beckert is present in over 150 countries. The Groz-Beckert Group is the world's leading supplier of industrial machine needles, precision parts and fine tools as well as systems and services for the production and joining of textile surfaces. At the Raesfeld site, Schmeing is now the competence center for tufting, with around 100 employees, responsible for the manufacture of tools and needles for the carpet industry, as well as for the manufacture of high-quality technical products made of plastic.
